It takes a Texas rapper to say, "Gay is OK."

TM Daily Post ran an item on Adair Lion, a Texas-born rapper whose new song “Ben” is getting some reknown as the first pro-gay song from a hip hop artist. I’m sure I’ve heard a gay-tolerant couplet or two in other hip hop songs—the Beastie Boys come to mind, though a specific reference doesn’t, so help me out if you can think of an example—but I give Adair credit for making it the central subject of this song. The song itself might not set the world on fire, but it’s not bad, and the end of the video actually made me choke up a bit. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that!)
